Tying the Knot in Johnson City

Courtney and Mark's wedding was an unforgettable day filled with laughter, joy, and memories that will last a lifetime. They tied the knot on October 1, 2021, at the stunning Mae's Ridge venue in Johnson City, Texas. With boho-chic vibes in mind, the couple and their vendors transformed the sleek and open space into an unforgettable atmosphere.

From the early load-in at the venue, everyone worked tirelessly to ensure everything was in place for the big day. Lauren from Eclipse Event Co. was the lead planner, overseeing the details and making sure everything ran smoothly. With a clean slate to work with, Native Bloom provided the beautiful floral arrangements while Premiere Events filled the venue with gorgeous rentals to match the couples vibe perfectly!

As the ceremony drew near, the chance of rain fluctuated up and down, but Plan A and Plan B were prepared just in case. Fortunately, the weather held up, and the ceremony proceeded as planned. After the gorgeous ceremony, a hilarious moment ensued when the bride lost her earring while recessing. It was a comedy of errors as everyone searched frantically for the missing earring. Finally, the earring was found, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

The reception decor was nothing short of beautiful, with DIY chargers, napkins and gorgeous florals adding a personal touch to the evening. During the reception the bride and groom entered as one by reenacting the iconic handshake from the parent trap leaving everyone in awe. They even ditched the traditional cake cutting by sharing a fruit roll up lady in the tramp style. It was a super cute moment that showcased their personalities perfectly.

One unique aspect of this wedding was the desserts. There were delicious cookies from a local bakery in Salt Lake, Utah, where the bride's mother is from. The cookies were such a hit that guests couldn't stop talking about them.

And let's not forget about the amazing Bat City Beats, who provided all of the music for the evening, allowing guests to dance the night away without a care in the world.
