NYE Wedding Weekend at Hotel Zaza

Jackie and Jim envisioned that their wedding celebration would be an entire weekend of elegance, glamour, and modern vibes to ring in the new year of 2022. Thanks to our planner, Lauren Chumbley, and the beautiful scenery provided by Hotel Zaza Austin, we created that vision into reality!

Their weekend kicked off on Thursday evening with a Welcome Dinner at the Roosevelt Room. Jackie and Jim were absolutely committed to making this space unique for their guests, and ordered a special meal from P6 at the LINE Austin. Another major priority for them was safety! All of their guests completed covid tests beforehand, which allowed us to be completely sure that all guests in attendance were covid-negative. Lauren totally appreciated their concern for making their guests feel safe and relaxed to make way for a fun weekend.

Friday began with Jackie’s hair and makeup, completed by All Dolled Up, which came out so beautifully on her. Can I hear a little commotion for the dress? It screams “Va-Va-Voom!”

Meanwhile, Hotel Zaza’s ballroom was also getting all dolled up!

Kitsch Event Styling came to place floral arrangements in the ballroom once all of the tables were set with modern linens from La Tavola and classy stationery from The Inviting Pear. Our photographer and videographer, Lauren Maria Films, captured the scene so perfectly, don’t you agree?

The rest of Friday night was loaded with fun and vibrant memories. The couple cut their delicious cake from Michelle’s Patisserie, and danced all night to the music provided by Greenbelt DJ.

Then came the moment everyone was waiting for. 3…2…1… Happy New Year! Lauren had such a blast setting off the balloon drop at midnight. What a way to welcome 2022!

After a private last dance, we sent off the newlyweds with a burst of streamers.

To end their wedding weekend, Jackie and Jim held a fun morning-after brunch at Hotel Zaza. We are simply so grateful to Hotel Zaza for having us! Their space, complete with twinkly chandeliers and classic carpets, created the perfect glam scene to celebrate love and the new year.
