Lively NYE Wedding at Lakeway Resort
Years ago, Chelsea and Kyle shared their first New Years Eve kiss together. Fast forward, on December 31st of 2021, Chelsea and Kyle shared their first NYE kiss as husband and wife! They chose to host a New Year's Eve celebration to commemorate their love and ring in the new year together. What a cute love story!
The couple planned with Kristi, who was thoroughly impressed by their decision-making skills. “I love them! They were so genuine, so confident in their decisions, flexible, yet they also came with their own ideas. Planning with them was easy!”
They chose Lakeway Resort for it’s beautifully bright and spacious setting, since the couple was adamant on dancing and partying with their guests all night long! Kristi and the vendors set up the ceremony and reception for guests, which was adorned with rentals by Premiere Events, floral by Kitsch Event Styling, and customized stationery from Etsy. The setting was simply enchanting!
To get ready, Chelsea had her hair and makeup done by LoLa Beauty, then she changed into her long and flowy bridal dress from Madi Lane Bridal. Her look was completed with a bountiful bouquet from Kitsch Event Styling. Our photographer, The Mill Photo Studio, captured her so beautifully! We’re also thankful that the videographer, PhotoHouse Films, was there to film all day and capture the couple’s first look.
Chelsea & Kyle said their “I do’s” and concluded their ceremony to the cheery love-tune, “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” by Natalie Cole.
One major feature of their reception party was hiring a DJ, Hype Rhythm DJ, with a drummer! This gave the reception a bit of live music, and helped pump the party up.
We absolutely love the treats that Michelle’s Patisserie made for them! First off, the regal Bridal wedding cake is top-tier (haha, get it?). Then, there was the Groom’s cake, which was decorated with a plane because Kyle himself is a pilot! They even made the same model of the plane that he flies. How cute! Lastly, they made 150 mini cookie sandwiches as a late-night snack for guests.
The cherry on top of the night was the photo booth by Oh Happy Day Photo Booth. They provided plenty of NYE props, which Kitsch Event Styling then styled on these shelves. This ended up looking so glam and amazing!
One fun moment that stuck out to Kristi was during the garter toss: Kyle went underneath Chelsea’s dress and to his surprise, found a Smirnoff Ice under there! SHE ICED HIM! (To “ice” means to hide a drink, and whoever finds it has to immediately chug it). Which is exactly what Kyle did! What an epic and hilarious moment!
We gave out NYE poppers to everybody a few minutes before midnight, so that when the clock struck 12am, everyone was popping streamers all over the place! One of the kids even (purposely) got himself mummified by the streamers!
To end the night, the newlyweds were sent-off with sparklers to go live happily ever after. Chelsea and Kyle aimed to make their wedding celebration an energetic night full of dancing, singing, mingling, and eating yummy treats. Their big day definitely checked all of those boxes! We were so happy to be a part of making this vision come true. They both are amazingly genuine people that truly deserve the love they share. We wish Chelsea & Kyle a happy lifetime together full of special NYE kisses!
