Fabulously Colorful Equestrian Center Wedding

Last May, Bonnie and Brad held a phenomenal wedding celebration in one of the most unique locations ever: an Equestrian Center! These two lovebirds bought this property in Dripping Springs for their family once they moved from California to Texas and instantly began renovations for their big wedding. With the help of their planner, Stacy, they designed and transformed the land into a full fledged wedding venue!

If their faces look familiar, it might be because these two are celebrities! Brad works in the music industry, while Bonnie is a TV/internet personality who became viral alongside Tyler, the Creator on her cooking show. Tyler was even a guest at this wedding! How cool!

Stacy said that planning with them was so great because they gave her 100% trust in executing their vision. Stacy handled the floral design, rentals, lighting, everything! Letting her run and thrive with the entire design gave her the space to create a cohesive, unique, and iconic wedding.

Equestrian Center Reception Setup

To get the space ready for 200+ guests, several vendors started prepping on-site an entire day prior. First, Premiere Event Rentals, Strong Events Rentals, Ilios Lighting, Austin Porta Potty Rentals, and Crave Catering arrived to drop off cozy lounge sets, linens, pink decor (see below), and other large equipment. Then, Flora Fetish came to prep the ceiling installations while Mike’s Dance Floor Rentals installed the reception dance floor. Stacy came on-site to supervise everybody and drop off vintage reception decor from Table Manners, while Bonnie and Brad hosted their rehearsal dinner. Before they knew it, it was time for bed!

Wedding day finally began! Saturday morning, the first vendors to arrive hit the ground running! Blush n’ Bangs started on the bridal party’s hair and makeup, while Flora Fetish began installing fresh floral arrangements everywhere. As Mike’s Dance Floor placed the couple’s custom vinyl design for reception, Loot Rentals came to drop off all of their vintage rentals, including the Speakeasy bar setup which was a fun surprise to be revealed to guests later that night!

To document every detail in this wedding, Bonnie Burke Photo and Agave Creative were our respective photographers and videographers for the day. They began by capturing this beautiful stationery completed by none other than The Inviting Pear!

As guests arrived on Transportation Consultants vehicles, they were greeted with live music by Ponciano Seoane Guitarist and Stacy began to line up the wedding party. With the help of direction and equipment from DJ Mr. Rogers, the ceremony began and ended. Brad was finally able to kiss his bride! “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley played as the wedding party was dismissed and cocktail hour began.

Crave Catering passed out delectable appetizers as well as margaritas, beer and wine so that guests could receive drinks without having to crowd the open bar. Guests could even get a pick-me-up at Creature Coffee’s table if they needed a caffeine boost! As a fun cocktail hour activity, Say Cheese Photo Booths was stationed in a renovated horse stall for guests to enjoy. Everything was vibrant and fun, and when the couple finished their sunset shots, they joined all of their guests to start reception.

After eating and toasting with the food and drinks provided by Crave, DJ Mr. Rogers opened up the dance floor with his party music. As a late night snack, Bad Larry Burgers opened their food truck, full of, you guessed it, burgers! (Including veggie burgers!) At the same time, Bonnie and Brad cut their 5-tier sprinkle covered cake from Michelle’s Patisserie.

At 9pm, the couple revealed that behind the head table was a secret Speakeasy! It was equipped with a full whiskey bar, comfy sofas, and more coffee (Very important!), LOL. The couple and their guests danced until the last song came on, ”Last Dance” by Donna Summers.

The night ended with a grand exit where the guests waved goodbye to Bonnie and Brad as they cruised in their getaway Maybach through the cold sparks setup by Big Dog Pyro. Looking back on this wedding, Stacy was so grateful to work with every single vendor that participated. They all killed it! It was a one-of-a-kind wedding for an incredibly deserving couple. Bonnie and Brad, thank you a million times over for choosing to work with us on such a special occasion! We wish Mr. and Mrs. Scoffern the very best!
