Classic Wedding at Austin Country Club
Courtney and Matt celebrated the first day of the rest of their lives on October 16th, 2021. After they toured a few Austin venues they decided to have their ceremony and reception at the Austin Country Club, with its classic and timeless feel and beautiful views at every turn! We absolutely love the shots of them overlooking the Pennybacker Bridge.
Courtney had one major priority: getting the flowers right! Matt had another major priority: make Courtney happy. Our planner, Art Fuentes, definitely succeeded in taking care of both of their focuses! The magenta flowers from Westbank Flower Market gave such a beautiful pop of color to their ceremony. All of their floral arrangements came out spectacularly!
While everything was getting set up, Courtney was getting her hair and makeup done by Adore. She slipped into her wedding dress by Monique Lhullier and was finally all ready. The hair, the makeup, the dress, everything was stunning on her. Here she is perfectly captured by Jenny DeMarco.
We enjoyed the lovely string music by Barton Strings, which made their ceremony scene unquestionably enchanting!
Courtney and Matt were sad they couldn’t get their dogs to come, so they ordered 2 custom topiary dogs to include them in the wedding ceremony. Incredibly cute!
Our videographer from Mason Jar Films captured their first moment as Mr. and Mrs. Talkington! #toastingthetalkingtons
Their 4-tiered cake was made by Simon Lee Bakery and decorated further with flowers by Westbank Flower Market and special spotlights by Brighter Side Event Lighting!
Of course, we kept the classic theme throughout the rest of the evening! Their delicious reception dinner from Austin Country Club was served on gold chargers from Premiere Event Rentals, which matched the gold chairs and flatware by Peerless Events & Tents.
These tables had an elegant touch given to them by the table numbers, created by Pink Champagne Designs. They tie the whole centerpiece together!
Courtney and Matt partied all night to the lively music by Icehouse Band, and were joined by a special street performer, the Austin Soco Puppets! Courtney had set her heart on including something “uniquely Austin” in her wedding, and this performer successfully did just that. What a blast!
We have to give a special shoutout to our photographer, Jenny DeMarco. She knocked it out of the ballpark! She captured the entire wedding perfectly, don’t you agree?
Art did a great job giving Courtney and Matt the romantic and classic wedding that they’d dreamed of. After working with such a sweet couple, it’s no wonder how the 3 are now besties! We wish Mr. and Mrs. Talkington a beautiful marriage and life together!
