Elizabeth + Brooks: A Charming Country Wedding at Star Hill Ranch

Under a beautiful blue Texas Sky on May 18, 2018, Elizabeth and Brooks said "I do" surrounded by friends and family at Star Hill Ranch. The couple fell in love with Star Hill Ranch's unique and charming recreation of 1900 Texas Hill country town.

The morning of the wedding, Elizabeth and her bridesmaids lounged in the cottage style farmhouse bridal suite where the girls did their own hair and makeup. Brooks and his groomsmen relaxed in the groom’s saloon quarters until the walk down the aisle.

The couple exchanged their vows outside in front Star Hill Ranch’s restored little white chapel with the groom’s father officiating. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the deck and patio of the reception hall. The guests also delighted in yard games of cornhole, jenga and bocce ball.

The couple chose to keep the décor simple to allow the charming aesthetic of the venue shine. The dinner reception tables on Main street were dressed with white table linens and pops of light blue napkins from Premiere Events. EPIC Event design created beautifully sweet floral arrangements of white floral with accents of peach and touches of silver.

A delicious buffet style dinner of Texas Ranch Spiced Chicken and farm inspired vegetables was catered by Royal Fig Catering. As dusk was setting, the couple had their first dance to “I think I like you” by David Ramirez. After dinner and toasts, guests were invited into the reception hall for cake cutting and dancing.

The cake from Sweet Treats Bakery was a simple white four-tiered cake with peach floral from EPIC Event Designs. After cake cutting, the party got started in full swing. DJ Edge kept the guests dancing throughout the night and the photobooth from Max Photography allowed guests to capture the memories of the night.

Once the celebration came to an end, the couple exited to a dazzling sparkler exit on Main street surrounded by their loved ones. All of these wonderful memories were captured beautifully by White Buffalo Weddings.
