Christy+Darrell Perfectly Imperfect Love Story

Christy and Darrell have one of the most Hollywood love stories I have ever heard of. Christy and Darrell first met in 2009 and dated for a couple of years. However, at such a young age and still trying to figure out adulthood Christy and Darrell thought it best if they went their own ways. But after years of living without each other their love brought them back together and they knew that they were meant to spend the rest of their lives with each other.

On June 16th 2018 at the gorgeous resort, Hyatt Lost Pines, a beautiful and intimate wedding was held. It was one of the most humid and hottest days of the Summer but also the windiest and rainiest. Despite the crazy Texas weather it still ended up being one of the most romantic weddings yet.

Hours before the wedding we had to make the decision whether or not to call a rain plan. Taking a slight risk we opted not go with the rain plan despite the scarce black clouds in the horizon. Even though the weather this day was quite the gamble that didn't stop Claudia with Kitsch from making the most gorgeous flower arbor ever. Battling the crazy wind and the random rain showers throughout the day her and her team still managed to make the ceremony gorgeous.

By 6:30pm there wasn't one cloud insight, the sky couldn't have been bluer, the river behind ceremony on LBJ set couldn't have been clearer and everything was perfect. The entire bridal party met in the lobby of Hyatt Lost Pines while the bride waited with her father in one of Lost Pines amazing suites. The bridesmaids were all in beautiful pink dresses that were all made with the same fabric but each had their own style that best fitted them. The Groomsmen were all in Navy suits with peach boutonnieres to tie in with the colors of the wedding.

Once the bridal party was all lined up at the altar the bride and her father arrived to the LBJ set on a golf cart provided by Lost Pines. Once the bride and her father started walking down the aisle the string quartet trio, provided by Altared, began “Somewhere over the rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole-.

After a beautiful ceremony guests made their way to the deck for cocktail hour and the bridal party took photos under the beautiful flowered arbor by Kitsch and their team. As the bridal party all took photos the guests got to enjoy more live music by the string quartet trio provided by Altared and eat delicious apps passed around by Lost Pines catering. After cocktail hour, guests took their seats under the LBJ set to get ready for dinner.

By the end of dinner guests followed the Eclipse Event Co team to Barons Ballroom where the fun really started! By the the time the guests made it to Baron’s Ballroom the music by DJ Jeremy provided by Altared was blasting, The mirror photobooth and all the fun props were set up by the Altared team, and the most amazing Dessert buffet by one of Christy and Darrells good friends was ready to be eaten. The dessert buffett was filled tons of amazing cupcakes, homemade churros with honey, chocolate sauce, and caramel sauce options, there were a variety of different cookies, and a gorgeous 3 tier wedding cake rested in the middle of all the goodies.

After hours of the guests dancing, the wedding of Christy and Darrell Irwin was quickly coming to an end. To conclude the night all the guests got in 2 lines outside of the ballroom and started blowing loads of bubbles while christy and Darrell walked through them.
