Jillian+Joshua: A Modern Simple Wedding

Joshua and Jillian tied the knot on June 6, 2018 at the beautiful Prospect House in Driftwood! The couple met 4 years prior to the wedding while involved in a recreational sports league in Austin. Fast forward 4 years it was love at first sight and they were off to vacation at the Bahamas. Joshua went on to surprise her with a proposal on the beach. He hired a photographer to get some engagement shots on the beach after he proposed! In our opinion he did good by being prepared with having someone record one of their special days.

Jillian’s goal for their special day was to keep it minimal. She did her own hair and make up and looked gorgeous throughout the night. Her dress and shoes were simple and beautiful which represented Jillian perfectly!

She also organized special touches throughout her entire wedding from the place cards for her guest to the place cards for her bridal party. She had so much simple attention to detail. Prospect house looked phenomenal, she knew exactly what she wanted!

The ceremony site was clear skies and made for beautiful pictures, achieving the modern look Jillian wanted for the day! The ring bearer and flower girl won hearts and prepared their guests for the start of a magical night.

Then they said I do which involved so much love and happy tears.

The party began and as soon as the first dance finished, everyone got on the dance floor and danced the night away. Everyone had a fantastic time celebrating Jillian and Joshua. The couple enjoyed every minute mingling and taking in the special day.

A sparkler exit ended the night. It was a happy ending to a beautiful day! A vintage vehicle arrived to drive the couple away to end their special night.
