Cici + Feng: A Chinese-American Technicolor Wedding
On their wedding day, you couldn't tell which was bluer: the sky or the water. Everything seemed to be in Technicolor for Cici and Feng. The pinks were Pinker and the soft silks of the linens were even softer. It was truly a statement Wedding!
For Cici, image was everything. Overall design, and especially floral, were the biggest priorities. She wanted simple, elegant and romantic which was reflected in the gorgeous ceremony arrangements reception centerpieces from Flora Fetish, all captured beautifully by Angela Lally Photography.
With Feng, he was there to have a great time, which was why they brought in Byrne Rock as their DJ. Bryne was definitely able to keep the party going all night! In fact, the dancing seemed to be everyone's favorite part of the day. The couple had a friend of theirs sing during the cocktail hour, which as super personal and they had a blast watching her and even got up their to sing with her. Cici and Feng danced the entire time and their friends' toasts were amazing! They really nailed who these two are as a couple and how they are meant to be together.
The evening overall was just so romantic- from the festoon lights to the large amount of florals, to the rentals from Premiere Events. She went with blush and cream tones, with hints of sparkle here and there. The silver glitter charges pulled the whole thing together in terms of elegance. Premiere did draping on the pergola, which is always a good idea! It made the ceremony space so much more intimate, which was very important since the Lily Lawn at Horseshoe Bay is such a sprawling space.
Silver Chiavari chairs came from Flawless Events, fresh off starting their business so the chairs were brand-new and tell truly Flawless! The beautiful cake came from Simon Lee Bakery.
Cici also changed her outfit during the cocktail hour to a red dress - a Chinese tradition. She came out to the reception and she was a show stopper, just so beautiful! It was such a fun way to incorporate her traditions while still having a Western wedding. She wanted to be more "American," but wanted subtle hints of her culture and changing her outfit was such a fun way to do so!
Overall the entire evening was absolutely dreamy and ended with a romantic and fun boat sendoff at Horseshoe Bay!
