Melanie & Josh: Sincere Joy of The Wedding Day
Melanie and Josh decided to tie the knot in their backyard of their beautiful home in south Austin, and since they were combining families, their bridal party consisted of all of their children! It truly was a warm, family affair with stunning florals, delicious comfort food, and lots of personal touches.
The couple had Whim hospitality erect a huge Sperry tent that really made their backyard feel warm and cozy. Whim also provided the rental tables, chairs, and Decor, in addition to the delicious comfort food that included personalized stations of everything sinful, complete with a mac & cheese bar!
Amy Gawlik of AL Gawlik Photography captured the loving family feeling of the evening beautifully, and pollen floral art really outdid themselves with their stunning centerpieces and drop dead gorgeous ceremony arch.
The bride walked down the aisle to Live strings by Terra Vista strings, and the couple's children read different Bible quotes during the ceremony. There was not a dry eye in the house!
The couple were self professed coffee addicts, and hired and the chocolate cup to customize specialty coffees for the guests at the reception, including various flavors of hot chocolate and espresso. This paired deliciously with the amazing cake provided by Sweet Treets Bakery. Everything about this wedding was absolutely warm and delicious, in every sense!
Once everyone was stuffed to the brim, DJ Sean of Altared Weddings kept the dance floor packed with this couple amazing song choices from the early 90s. It was absolutely one of my favorite song lists to date!
While not a large wedding by any means, this was probably one of the most personal and warm weddings I have ever been witness to, and I think everyone would agree it was truly a beautiful evening.
