Sophie and Heng: Stunning Wedding at Horseshoe Bay

When Sophie and Heng visited Horseshoe Bay Resort in Marble Falls, they knew it would be the perfect site for their wedding. They chose to have their ceremony on Lily lawn, with their reception on Astor lawn by the pool.

Their ceremony was lovely. Sophie provided a gorgeous white sequined runner for the aisle, and she was able to source several meaningful decorations straight from China. Heng's last name literally means "Bear" in Chinese so they had a bride and groom bear make their appearance on their sign in table. What a special and meaningful touch!

Sophie chose BELLA BY SARA for her stunning wedding flowers, and she did not disappoint! Everything was Chris and white, with pink and peach floral and lots of candlelight. Scripted ever after provided custom gold acrylic mirrored table numbers, and Horseshoe Bay's in house linens were the perfect clean beach side and look at the couple was looking for.

Tunes across Texas but people dancing with classics like the Cupid shuffle and to the Macarena. These guests were so kind, fun, and just ready and willing to have a good time. The food and drinks provided by Horseshoe Bay were out of this world - Sophie and Heng even provided an ice cream sundae bar, which was promptly devoured!

Nothing could top of the large wedding cake, provided by Simons Lee Bakery… Sophie's favorite! I believe they even had three or four different flavors, and there wasn't a single slice left at the end of the night!

This couple was a true delight to work with, they were always so happy and in good spirits. They truly kept the important things in mind when planning this wedding, and it really showed in the amazing photos and video, provided by Amy Weison photography and Second-generation films.
